the answer to this made me the saddest, I have so many feels for kid!Jim and his childhood and whatever that is’ not even funny. But also, does Jim ever hallucinate or lose touch with reality?
He’s not that far gone yet :p
OHOHOH there was one last thing that I ask all writers of Jim, that I may have asked you before but I forget the answer and will ask again, does Jim ever have flashbacks or nightmares or anything because of his childhood or anything? (again, sorry if this has already been asked, but like 90% of the time the answer is yes and... yeah)

He doesn’t get flashbacks, and while he gets nightmares, they’re not (well, not obviously) about his childhood. His brain has gotten very very good at protecting itself from what harms him - he’s repressed anything terrible.
However, that doesn’t mean that his childhood doesn’t manifest itself in his life in other ways. He’s extremely anxious and has trust issues. Both things come from his early life.
And the second question is, have the boys ever been met homophobically? Is their relationship a bit of a secret? (that was two more questions, I think, oops :/) I know taggles wrote something utterly heartbreaking about that, but I wasn't wondering about it in your 'verse (and also because I love asking you both the same question or variations of the same question and seeing your different responses, thought I wasn't the original asker of the homophobic thing,)

I think every person in a homosexual relationship in this day and age is met with homophobia. Jim usually doesn’t get as affected by it as Sebastian does, cause he doesn’t give a fuck, and Sebastian tries to take it in stride too. But it doesn’t feel good.
Jim isn’t super keen on PDA or anything (though sometimes Seb insists on putting his arm around Jim’s shoulder), and while their relationship isn’t really a secret, strictly speaking, they don’t really make it a habit of parading it around.
So I'm going to ask two last questions then not ask anymore so that there are still things I don't know about these two (thought you have their personalities so fleshed out that I could probably ask questions for days and still not know the whole extent of these weirdies!) The first one is, I know a lot of fans have somehow fit Richard Brook into Jim, either being twin brother or multiple personality or something, how does he fit into your 'verse, or is he just an alias?
Rich is too close to the Fall for me, honestly.
ALTHOUGH. (I realize this isn’t the question you asked but I’m excited) (and I know I already said I’d never write braindamage!Jim) I’m writing a future/spaceship AU (working title: Mormor in Space! haha) where Jim has a bit of brain damage… he’s not Rich though, he’s a cyborg…sorta…
That’s obviously in a different universe completely though…
Oh and did I mention I absolutely adore how well thought out your little world is? I don't know many authors or fic writers who know their characters this well, it's really fascinating to listen to. You have so many little details, it's just wonderful.

Can I just keep asking you headcanon questions, I’m probably having just as much fun as you are :3 oh and if you don’t want me asking any more questions too bad. Do either of them have a history of drug use? and do they have siblings?
They’ve both used drugs in the past, but only recreationally - Sebastian smoked a lot of weed in college, Jim took adderall to focus and stay up all night coding. A bit of this here or there. No addictions - Jim is too stubborn for that and Sebastian just doesn’t have an addictive personality. He’s pretty laid back~
As far as siblings go, Bastian has a sister who he doesn’t really talk to anymore. She’s a complete bitch and married to an investment banker who reminds Sebastian a little too much of his father. Jim is an only child - and that lack of socialization early in his life made him the little weirdo he is now :3
Two more things, what is your complete and total aversion to MCD, and does the Reichenbach Fall ever happen in the Dblissverse? I always imagine your stories happening when they're in their earlier twenties, before Sherlock (though he is mentioned, it's pretty much AU in my head, so...), but maybe later on, does Jim ever kill himself on the roof, or is Jim only slightly interested in Sherly, rather than the BBCverse canon obsessed?
My babies never die. NEVER. (just kidding I’m sure they die eventually… we don’t talk about that.) And yeah, they’re a little younger, but not much (my Seb though, is like, six years older than Jim.)
Sherlock is just an adversary that Jim is a little infatuated with. He likes to play with him. But my Jim, I will openly admit, is not as fucking psycho as the Jim in the Fall. And he’s not as singularly focused on SH as BBC!Jim is.
And he never kills himself ever the end.
Wow, I thought I was the only one who had their own sort of 'verse for mormor. In the BBCverse, I imagine Jim abandoned Sebastian some point along the way in favor of Sherlock and that hurts a bit too much to stay real in my head, so I have my prefect little separate fluffy world for them. wow sorry for rambling it's just nice to talk to people about headcanons and things
UM. WOAH.
So this is pretty much me. I mean, Sherlock Holmes exists in my universe, but the BBC storyline does not (for obvious reasons. READ: my complete and total aversion to MCD).
But yeah. I always refer to it as the “DBliss Universe” and I mean that pretty literally. It’s their own world where bad things happen, but not so bad that a cuddle won’t fix it.
Also, I’m like. Kinda sick of reading the same fucking storyline over and over. Something happens, and Sebastian, blah blah, and then everything spirals out of control into Reichenbach Fall, and WOW I’VE NEVER READ THAT BEFORE.
So most of it is that I don’t want them to die, but some of it is my complete and total lack of a desire to write a storyline that I’ve already fucking watched on TV. (Though there are exceptions to that rule of course. Peanut by G for example.)
